Education and communication is a central part in our capacity building work. Over the years our researchers has contributed to making research videos about their work, which could be used as teaching material or in practice. 

"Break the Silence" - A film about the challenges with Menstrual Health Management in rural Tanzania, based on research by Sara Gabrielsson, LUCSUS.

Human Urine as fertilizer - A film on how to use human urine as fertilizer based on work by farmer groups in Uganda, together with Elina Andersson, LUCSUS.

Smokeless kitchen - The film on how improved cook stoves have been introduced to subsistence farmers in Kenya.

"A Pathway out of Poverty?" – A film about a market-based initiative to promote sustainable development through the introduction of simple technologies in targeted villages in western Kenya. This film focuses on the early successes of the diffusion of cook stoves and rainwater harvesting systems, and the main challenges with sustaining the initiative.
